I’ve just seen the Christmas catalogues from Impression Obsession and Stampavie and love them both. I’m waiting for images from Impression Obsession but the new Stampavie ones have been added to my website for pre-order - they are soooo cute!! The image shown above is from Laurence a new designer for Stampavie. I cannot wait to play with the new stamps when they arrive - I’ve ordered lots but will there be any left for me?!! I am pleased to announce new dates and venues for Copic Classes Autumn 2010 with other dates for 2010- 2011 coming soon…
Saturday 21st August – Introduction to Copic Class – Kintbury, Berkshire
Sunday 22nd August – Next Step with Copic – Kintbury, Berkshire NEW CLASS
Sunday 3rd October – Introduction to Copic Class – Arundel, West Sussex NEW VENUE
Sunday 24th October – Introduction to Copic Class – Stevenage, Herts
Sunday 14th November – Introduction to Copic Class – Warrington, NW NEW VENUE
Details of the COPICific Retreat weekend details will be announced as soon as we have found a suitable venue for Spring 2011. The weekend will be a great time for all Copic enthusiast as we will cover all the various techniques in classes, playtime, shopping and evening entertainment at a delightful hotel.
The Copic Certification programme for 2011 details will be announced asap. I am currently working on the Certification manual, which will be available to all delegates attending the class. To attend the class you will have to complete an application form which will be available for you to download shortly.

Summer Strawberries
July 13th, 2010This is a preview of what I’m teaching tonight at my local Stamping Friends club. Guess the lovely Strawberries growing in a pot by my shop inspired me!!
This card was quick and easy to make but has a surprise within - ideal for a secret message!!
Here’s the inside, when the ribbon is opened the message explodes open!!

Newbury Show
July 6th, 2010Did you make it to the Newbury show ? Everyone I spoke to seemed to really enjoy the show, and as usual the sun shone on us. Whilst I almost melted it was much more bearable than previous years - may be number of attendees was lower…
Our stand was really busy especially on Saturday (Sunday is always a quieter day) but I did manage to take a few photos. The demonstrations of the Cover a Card stamps seemed very popular so I will share more details later… Here’s Jo in full swing showing what can be achieved with a brayer! 
. She certainly looks like she is enjoying herself!! On Sunday it was Sally’s turn!! Another friend and talented cardmaker - unfortunately you cannot she what she was doing!! 
Meanwhile Caroline was busy both days demonstating the Palette Technique and other ideas using the fabulous Copic Markers. Here’s Caroline in action -

Just arrived in stock is the latest Birthday Cards - Special Edition from Creative Cardmaking. I love this magazine - it is simply a must have. The magazine costs £4.99 but includes 32 FREE papers (4 paper collections) from Nitwit - there is feminine, masculine, cupcakes, patchwork papers plus some basis essentials so the magazine pays for itself.

Newbury Art Stamp Show

I’m so sorry that I haven’t been blogging for a while but I have been unwell but won’t bore you with the details. Just wanted to remind you that it is the Newbury Art Stamp Show this weekend, so I hope to see you there!
Our stand is in our normal position (on the left when you enter) and we have lots of lovely new stamps and accessories to show you. Plus we’ll be offering two demonstrations on the stand. Caroline will be showing Copic basics and Jo will be using the new Cover a Card stamps from Impression Obsession.

Lutterworth 3rd Copic Class
May 17th, 2010The Lutterworth 3rd Introduction to Copic Class took place yesterday with comments from customers including:
“Great fun, learnt new techniques to take away and practice”
“Really helpful. Very Clear instructions, easy to understand. Great to have time to practise!”
“Thoughly enjoyed the class. Learnt loads about how to use Copics - will definitely look out for the next class”.
As you can see from the comments everyone seemed to enjoy the class. Sorry I forgot to take a photo - just too busy (and tired having left home at 6:30am and not home again till about 7:30pm- shattered!!!)
