Thomas Kinkade

For the Newbury show I tried to think of a quick but effective way of using detailed stamps such as the Thomas Kinkade ones.  I have previously demonstrated these stamps with Versafine, Kaleidocolor (Multi-coloured) inkpads with a brayer, and even Cosmic Shimmers.  I have now found another stunning effect is if you use a Versafine inkpad and colour with chalks - it is so easy too (honestly)!!!  I Continue reading..

Rose’s Garden

I'm sure you'll agree that this is a really cute card.  Everyone seemed to love it at the recent Newbury Art Stamp show where it was one of the demos being shown using the Copic Ciao Marker pens.  It has been made by my good friend Jo Pegrum.  Notice the lovely blending on the trousers?  This has been achieved using the O blender pen to lighten. The stamp used here is Rose's Garden SAKNATSK7B Continue reading..
