Chaos

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Hi All,  I’m sorry that I haven’t been blogging but I have been poorly.  I’ve been suffering with a really bad head and blurry vision and this is the fourth week so it is beginning to get me down now.  The headache is now just a constant aching but was quite bad at one stage.  I’ve been referred to the hospital and next week have to go and have a scan - scarry!  My husband says they’ll have to find my brain first - cheeky monkey!!

Anyway despite this I’ve been really busy.  Last weekend I taught the Exeter Copic Class on Saturday and the Bristol one on Sunday.  I was a little nervous teaching in case I coloured over the lines but what a lovely bunch of ladies.  Thank you for being very understanding!  Unfortunately I forgot to take any photos but if the comments are anything to go by, everyone had a great time.

Tomorrow we’re off to the Great Northern Papercraft show at the YEC in Harrogate.  If you can do come along as this is really a great show.  Karen & I will be demonstrating on our stand A6.

I promise some inspiration next week… Sorry I’ve been missing for so long!

Happy Stamping,

Wendyx

I’m sure that I’ll find you lots of new exciting goodies to add to your current crafting stash!  Keep watching the blog for details on new products, ideas etc and some very exciting Copic news coming soon…  Shhhh!!!!  cannot tell you more yet!!!

Sorry for the late posting today but it has been chaotic again and this evening I’ve been busy making a birthday card for my great nephew Joshua’s first birthday, whilst my friend Jo made a gorgeous card using our new Plum Blossom stamps.  Hopefully she’ll be adding it to her blog soon….

Happy Stamping and See you tomorrow with more Love is in the Air!

Monday, January 11th, 2010

I hope it not too late to share with you some of the wonderful Christmas creations I received from  my various Stamping Friends.   I promised this some time ago but unfortunately we lost the camera cable!    Mo, one of my local customers told me she and her daughter spent last weekend making Christmas Cards for 2010!!  So hopefully I’m not too late or too early!!

Karen from our Design Team has used the new Ice Skating Stocking stamp (code F2354 ) from Impression Obsession and coloured with Copics.

This clever creation was from Sandy a member of our Stamping Friends Kintbury club and based upon an accordian card technique which I taught in the Autumn.

Copic Price Increase

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

ciao

I have today been advised by Copic that there will be a price increase effective 1st January 2010.  The price for the Copic Ciaos will be £2.50 each (currently £2.35 RRP).  All other Copic products will also be increased too but I am awaiting confirmation.

We currently have the Copic Markers on a special offer for Christmas at £1.95 (amazing price) so why not beat the increase and buy today!

Snowboardabella

Monday, October 26th, 2009

img005I’m sure you’ll agree that Karen has made a great card using the Snowboardabella stamp image.  She has coloured the image with Copic markers.  Note the grey shadow around the image - this makes the image stand out on the card.  She has used our Christmas Kaisercraft papers which are available - just give us a call as they are not on our website since stock is already quite low…  The image has been cut with the Rectangle Nestabilities and layered using co-ordinating card stock from Karen’s own stack.  The snowflake punch is the Arctic Snowflake punch from Martha Stewart.  Any questions just give me a shout.

Forthcoming shows (last of the season):

Sunday 1st November - Ringwood Show (see show info on our website)

Thursday 5th - Sunday 8th November - Hobbycraft show at the NEC, Birmingham.  We are stand no F06.

Autumn Card

Friday, September 4th, 2009

Well today is my brother in law’s Richard birthday so as he is a lover of nature I decided to use my new “Country Diaries of an Edwardian Lady” CD which has gorgeous nature waterpaintings for toppers, background papers, inserts and loads more including calenders, birthday planners, frames and poems etc…  There are two CD’s for just £22.90 - the first CD has Spring/Summer and the second Autumn/Winter…

Anyway here is the card I made last night from the Autumn selection of images.  The card is a really simple quick and easy card.  I added some glossy accents to the berries so that they glisten, and three small copper brads to the corner of the card for added decoration.i384
