Just arrived in stock is the latest Birthday Cards - Special Edition from Creative Cardmaking. I love this magazine - it is simply a must have. The magazine costs £4.99 but includes 32 FREE papers (4 paper collections) from Nitwit - there is feminine, masculine, cupcakes, patchwork papers plus some basis essentials so the magazine pays for itself.
The magazine itself is full of ideas for using the enclosed papers but also covers lots of techniques and there is are spotlight articles on stencils and paper piecing too. This magazine will sell out soon…

I’m so sorry that I haven’t been blogging for a while but I have been unwell but won’t bore you with the details. Just wanted to remind you that it is the Newbury Art Stamp Show this weekend, so I hope to see you there!
Our stand is in our normal position (on the left when you enter) and we have lots of lovely new stamps and accessories to show you. Plus we’ll be offering two demonstrations on the stand. Caroline will be showing Copic basics and Jo will be using the new Cover a Card stamps from Impression Obsession.

Just realised that my blog must be a year old as I remember including a photo of Caroline from the last show when I first started my blog. The Lutterworth 3rd Introduction to Copic Class took place yesterday with comments from customers including:
“Great fun, learnt new techniques to take away and practice”
“Really helpful. Very Clear instructions, easy to understand. Great to have time to practise!”
“Thoughly enjoyed the class. Learnt loads about how to use Copics - will definitely look out for the next class”.
As you can see from the comments everyone seemed to enjoy the class. Sorry I forgot to take a photo - just too busy (and tired having left home at 6:30am and not home again till about 7:30pm- shattered!!!)

Finally I get to post a completed card!! Life has just been a rollercoaster recently including attending shows all over the country. Thought you may like to see this card which uses our new white glittered florettes from Petaloo. http://www.stampsandmemories.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=281_313&products_id=3210 I have simply coloured them with my Copic pens so that they co-ordinate with the colours in the background paper. Even coloured you still see that wonderful sparkle.
